Plotdrive is built for sustained long-form writing — novels, memoirs, newsletters, and more. All plans include the AI Co-Writer, 50+ professional tools, and collaboration capabilities.
Free Trial — 7 Days
Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial that includes:
- 5,000 AI credits to explore Co-writer, Tools, and the full workspace
- Access to all features available on the Pro plan
- No credit card required to start
At the end of the trial, your account converts to the plan you select. Your projects and documents are preserved regardless of which plan you choose.
Pro Plan — $39/month
- 20,000 AI credits per month, refreshed on the anniversary of your subscription start date
- AI Co-Writer with 50+ writing tools
- Access to leading AI models (GPT, Claude, Gemini)
- Unlimited project creation
- One included collaborator
- Optional personal API key integration (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter)
- Priority support access
Team Plan — $199/month
Everything in Pro, plus:
- Up to 3 included seats
- Shared workspaces
- Shared style guides and continuity systems
- Multi-writer production pipelines
- Seat administration and permission controls
- Dedicated team onboarding
Ideal for writing studios, ghostwriting agencies, classrooms, and group projects.
Enterprise Plan — Publisher
Large-scale production infrastructure including everything in Pro, plus:

AI Credits Explained
Credits are the currency for AI-powered features in Plotdrive. Here's how they work:
- Monthly credits refresh automatically on your subscription anniversary date (not the 1st of the month)
- Add-on credit packs are available for purchase if you need more. Add-on credits are available immediately after purchase and appear under "Add-on credits" in your credit wallet. The app uses your monthly credits first, then draws from add-ons.
- Credit usage scales with how much text the AI processes and generates. Longer documents toggled on = more input tokens = more credits per request.
- Credits are consumed by the project owner. Collaborators participate in writing, editing, and ideation without separate charges.
To check your balance: click your profile icon (top-right) and select "Credits." You'll see your monthly credits and any add-on credits listed separately.
Annual Pricing
Save 25% with annual billing. You can switch between monthly and annual billing anytime under Settings → Account → Manage Plan.
Using Your Own API Keys
You can also connect your own API keys from Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter under Settings → API Keys. When using your own keys, you pay the model provider directly at their rates — this gives you full control over costs and is popular with heavy users.
